Events - Anti-Corruption Workshop: Leading Integrity in Businesses in Kota Kinabalu Sabah

On Thursday, 11 December 2025, Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M), in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sabah, concluded its Anti-Corruption Workshop series with the final session on Leading Business Integrity at Promenade Hotel, Kota Kinabalu.

The closing session in Sabah was officiated with a keynote address by YBhg. Datuk TPj Mohd Fuad Bee Bin Basrah, Director of MACC Sabah, followed by an opening address from Erik van der Veen, Head of UNODC Programme Office Malaysia, and a welcoming speech by Ms. Nurirdzuana Ismail, Secretary General of TI-Malaysia.

The workshop brought together 45 participants from diverse industries including plantation, real estate, investment, oil and gas, healthcare, finance, and other key sectors.

As we conclude this workshop series, TI-M reaffirms its dedication to empowering businesses to embed integrity at the core of their operations. By fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, we aim to build resilient systems that deter corruption, protect whistleblowers, and enhance transparency.
