On 22 April 2026, Transparency International Malaysia hosted a webinar titled “Towards an Effective Ombudsman for Malaysia: Lessons from Global Best Practices.”

We were honoured to be joined by two distinguished speakers:

  • Mr. Klavs Kinnerup Hede, Director of International Relations, Ph.D., The Danish Parliamentary Ombudsman

The session was moderated by Muhamad Nazri bin Shaidon, EXCO member of TI-Malaysia.

This webinar successfully gathered 174 participants, underscoring Malaysia’s ongoing commitment to advancing accountability, transparency, and good governance through the institutionalisation and strengthening of an Ombudsman framework.
