On 22 July 2025, Transparency International Malaysia held a dynamic workshop in Sandakan titled "Youth Against Corruption: A Workshop on Integrity and Accountability".
In collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sabah, and Society for Equality, Respect and Trust for All (SERATA), the workshop brought together 45 passionate youth participants from Sandakan for an engaging session that combined educational talks with interactive games to deepen understanding of corruption and promote ethical leadership.
The workshop focused on empowering youth to combat corruption by strengthening their reporting skills, fostering critical discussions on its societal roots, and mapping future support strategies for Sabah’s anti-corruption efforts
It is a meaningful step toward empowering young changemakers and reinforcing the collective pursuit of a more transparent and accountable future.
